Thanks you for deciding to rent with Progress Realty Group! We appreciate your business! We have prepared this small welcome package for your convenience. In this package you will find important information about your rental property as well as important information about what to do if something goes wrong.

 

Rent: Rent is to be paid on the 1st of the month. The best way to pay is on your AppFolio web portal which will be emailed to you prior to move in. You can also pay by check, cash or money order at 7-11, please call the office to ask for a form for this method of payment.

 

Tenant Responsibilities: This home is equipped with several smoke detectors. Please check them often to make sure that the batteries are working. Your air-conditioning and heat have a filter that filters the air going through them. Please note the size (accessed from the returns) and make sure to replace these filters every THREE MONTHS. Not only will this save you money on your electric bill but it will also improve the quality of air you breathe. Please only use the inexpensive fiber filters, NOT pleated filters. They should only cost a few dollars.

 

Maintenance: If something goes wrong in the house that you would like PRG to look at and fix please submit a request through your AppFolio web portal. This is the easiest and fastest way of getting your maintenance completed. If there is an emergency situation where someone needs to get to the house right away please call the After Hours Emergency Number (804) 426-6396.  Only use that number in the event of a true emergency as defined on Emergency Maintenance page.  We strive to have a 72 hour response time for non-emergency maintenance requests.

 

Utilities: You are responsible for moving all utilities into your name within 3 days of the start of your lease. The utilities will then be cut off. If you transfer the utilities you will save on connection fees associated with new service start ups. Transfers are cheaper!
